21st March, 2000 - A lovely chunk of diary, and some more pictures. Many thanks to all of you who signed the guestbook recently - it's great for us to hear your news, too.

05th March, 2000 - Welcome to our new location... I hope you have all found us safely by now. I finally got off my buttocks this weekend, and updated both the pictures and the diary - enjoy :-)

18th February, 2000 - Welcome to our new location... you may notice a few changes around the site - just some little details here and there to keep it looking fresh. I have also added some java, just because I finally figured out how to ;-) In case you haven't seen yet, the guestbook is working again, so please do leave another little message for Laura and Mark.

2nd February, 2000 - It seems we may be moving the site, to avoid the promised advertising banners, so please keep a look out for changes over the next few weeks (as soon as I get around to it). Meanwhile, plenty more diary from New Zealand 8-)

28th January, 2000 - Laura and Mark are churning out diary fatser than we can type it in - so don't fall too far behind ;-) Also, we've had notice that some rather intrusive advertising is going to be added to all 'Topcities' sites - so look out for some kind of changes soon. We may even be forced to move, who knows...

24th January, 2000 -Well, when given enough time - and that lovely cable internet connection - it seems worth making the extra effort to update. There's a TON more diary to read ;-)

20th January, 2000 - There probably won't be much added for a couple of weeks now - but if you haven't visited the site for a while, there are plenty of pictures and diary entries to keep you busy. Stick with us :-)

17th January, 2000 - Well, I took a break from updating the site - but there is now more diary and a great bunch of new pictures! Laura and Mark are having a great time in New Zealand - but it's tough for them to get online over there, so the diary entries have taken a very round-about route to get onto the site. Do please sign the guestbook - even if you already did last year - we do keep checking it J.

01st January, 2000!! - Happy New Year! Laura and Mark will be flying to New Zealand in a couple of days, where they will then spend a month - but we're still hoping they can check their emails and visit the site as often as possible.

04th December, 1999 - wow, when Laura and Mark get going - they really get going! The diary now comes all the way up to November 26th, and they weren't mean with their entries either. Enjoy!

03rd December, 1999 - I had just added the logo, and one more diary entry this morning - and what do I find in my e-mail this evening? Well, you can enjoy all the new diary entries for yourself...J

30th November, 1999 - Well, there was a bit of confusion about the last diary entries, so their dates have been ammended. Basically, there are no missing days any more - and a couple more have been added today. Hope that's not too confusing 8-)

24th November, 1999 - I have been unable to upload anything for a little while now - I lost the password *blush*. Anyway, I have not been idle, and have made a few changes, which I hope will make the site a bit easier to navigate. There is more diary - and the promised pictures are finally there. Enjoy!

10th November, 1999 - Make yourself a cup of tea/coffee, and make sure you're sitting comfortably - the diary has been updated, and I mean UPDATED. hehe...

06th November, 1999 - I have reversed the order of the news, so that the latest entry will always be at the top of the page - hope that doesn't confuse anyone J. Laura and Mark sent me their final diary entries for October this morning - there is plenty more to read there, now. You probably noticed the map I added last week - I'm afraid it doesn't show where they are living, because it's of the centre of Adelaide, but they are basically to the west of that map.

01st November, 1999 - A belated Happy Halloween to all J. Another day has gone into the diary - so you can read all the way up to October 27th, now. Unfortunately, Laura and Mark didn't make it to the chatroom this week, but we'll try and set up a meeting with some notice soon - I'll post a time and date on the menu page if it can be arranged. As far as I know, the first photos are hopefully winding their way to Holland as we speak, and we'll get them onto the site as soon as we can!

28th October, 1999 - Laura and Mark have made a great effort this week, to keep up with their diary entries, and they are now back up to speed with their news. Check out the diary pages, to catch up to the 26th October!

27th October, 1999 - Yep, more diary - we're almost totally up-to-date now... I can't find my counter any more - wonder where it got to... [edit: ah, it has come back to me!]

23rd October, 1999 - Well, there was a little confusion over the last entry to the diary. It's date has been amended, and it has been completed - that's the only addition to the diary today, but look out for more soon!
Also, I have changed the format of the 'links' pages, and added quite a few.

20th October, 1999 - Last weekend saw our first attempt at using the chatroom, and we had mixed success. The whole Hayward family had no problems logging in, but a couple of others who also tried, failed to connect. As far as I can work out, the only requirements are a java-compatible browser, and a name that no-one else has registered. Unfortunately (sort of), as I'm able to log in without problem, it's pretty difficult for me to try and work out why others aren't having the same success...
I have also divided up the diary into separate weeks, as the pages were getting rather long.

14th October, 1999 - The next instalment of the diary arrived from Laura and Mark late last night - and with a swift cut-and-paste job, it's on the site!

12th October, 1999 - After trying out the chatroom a few times for myself, it seemed to be incredibly slow to load - and, sometimes didn't ever appear at all. I have found a new chatroom, which seems even more convenient, and loads on the page itself - better on both counts.

06th October, 1999 - Some links to Australian sites added. Plus, I now have Front Page Editor - which is going to make building the site a whole lot easier. I'm wondering whether to make some parts of the site password protected - although that would make access a bit more tedious, it would mean that no strangers could get Laura and Marc's e-mail addresses. Or, maybe I should not put them on the site at all - don't know yet...

04th October, 1999 - Diary updated, chatroom added & site layout determined. I’m debating whether to add a message forum, as well as the guestbook – which would allow more interaction, but might remain unused if people prefer to use e-mail or the guestbook.
